Straight outta UNIUYO or straight outta stress?? Welcome to UNISTRESS

I notice that almost everyone on my list on Facebook that has graduated to the next level or finally outta UNIUYO gives glory to God for a successful landing, or crash landing maybe. A school where virtually everyone that finishes a level or graduates heaves a sigh of relief is not encouraging education at all.
University of Uyo, UNIUYO, from where I graduated is so stressful that the day i finished, it felt like a heavy stone just dropped from my shoulders. If other schools are like this and/or if education would be so stressful in future, it will take some time before many get Post Graduate form as hardly do people want to engage in that kind of stress again! It’s so bad that once an undergraduate student finally drops the pen, his/her next voyage for further education is either schools in the west or northern part of the country. Those that are capable, opt out of the country. Hardly does anyone wish to remain in the school for Post Graduate programme, however nice the outlook.

But was school meant to be so stressful? Everything in UNIUYO is stressful. Admission is stressful; you pray to get admission one day and once admitted your prayer be like, “Lord, please when I shall graduate?” To attend lectures is stressful, to collect forms, stress! You want to write an assignment, stress, or is it test and exams you are to write, you get stressed right in the hall of assessment. So you say let me stay in the hostel for proper concentration – yet another kind of stress. Till the day you get your certificate, stress never leaves you in the University of Uyo, however hard you try to free yourself.

What a school!

Release Of 2015/2016 Post UTME Supplementary Screening Test Results

The University of Uyo has released the results of the just concluded Post UTME Supplementary Screening Test Exercise for CBT candidates who had aggregate score of zero.
