Introduction The rainy season in Nigeria provides a unique opportunity for money making, but not so many people realize this on time. The cold tends to drive many people indoors but for the sharp, fast thinking and business-conscious guys, this is a unique opportunity to get rich quick or slowly depending on individual’s capacity. Truth is, making money in the rainy season requires very little startup capital and market space as virtually anywhere could be converted to a business premises – the roadsides, traffic holdups, the bus terminus and car parks, schools, religious outfits, stadium, just anywhere. The throughput is even more in these areas and with the on-the-move strategy than sit-tight shops, except for those people with more wares and capacity to make more turnouts from wholesale, semi-wholesale and retail sales.
