NYSC Standard Roadmap, Guidelines and Procedures

Image
The journey to a successful NYSC, National Youth Service Corp programme begins as soon as a student finishes all clearance activities in his/her institution of choice. This documentation would be made as brief as possible as it assumes the reader to have background information on what the NYSC programme is all about, the history of the NYSC and other basic background knowledge. So it would focus on just the roadmap from start to finish of the NYSC programme, as a firsthand information since the author is a corp member himself, serving his fatherland as at the time of publishing this.

Blogging: The Way I See It

There exists a myriad of versions on the history of blogging. My job here is not to go into those details as they have practically little relevance to this article. However, I’m fond of the version that links the history of blogging to housewives who had for many years used blogs to share information among themselves, perhaps as I suppose, on how to cook meals, take care of their kids, do some basic home decorations and general home management. Their interest was never towards finance, it was strictly for knowledge sharing and preservation of it. No one bothered to pay for adverts placement and there was no need to design and redesign blogs, nor was there any natural need to blog for money.

Straight outta UNIUYO or straight outta stress?? Welcome to UNISTRESS

Image
I notice that almost everyone on my list on Facebook that has graduated to the next level or finally outta UNIUYO gives glory to God for a successful landing, or crash landing maybe. A school where virtually everyone that finishes a level or graduates heaves a sigh of relief is not encouraging education at all.

Online Contents Sharing: How far is too far? A comparative of then and now

It is difficult, perhaps almost impossible to know exactly the life and times of our parents and elderly relations who have existed prior to the advent of internet, particularly the social media. Back then, there was no Facebook, twitter, LinkedIn, Badoo or Instagram. Communications were mainly formal; meeting people face-to-face was the in-thing as there was no Skype for online chats or emails and whatsapp for superfast message deliveries and responses. That was a heck of trouble, the new generation would opine, and though I totally do not disagree with them but would rather say that our parents may not have taken it that way though. Might be they liked it so, might be they did not.

7 practical guidelines for making money in the rainy seasons in Nigeria

Introduction The rainy season in Nigeria provides a unique opportunity for money making, but not so many people realize this on time. The cold tends to drive many people indoors but for the sharp, fast thinking and business-conscious guys, this is a unique opportunity to get rich quick or slowly depending on individual’s capacity. Truth is, making money in the rainy season requires very little startup capital and market space as virtually anywhere could be converted to a business premises – the roadsides, traffic holdups, the bus terminus and car parks, schools, religious outfits, stadium, just anywhere. The throughput is even more in these areas and with the on-the-move strategy than sit-tight shops, except for those people with more wares and capacity to make more turnouts from wholesale, semi-wholesale and retail sales.

4 reasons why I love my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 [and its variants]

When I got my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 some time ago, hardly did I know it would turn out a gadget of immense importance to me. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is indeed a great tool, anyone should get it. See my personal reasons below. It helps in me in church If you attend a church like mine where services would require your carriage of a Bible, jotter, hymn book and a pen/pencil, then you must know how hectic it could be. Also if you are as careless as me, placing stuffs haphazardly, then your frustration could be doubled! Lastly, if you do my kind of work that requires closing last, then that makes the load a triple! My Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 came to replace all these. All I have to do is keep it charged – at least 50% and then, I am good to go. It has everything. Already installed are Two Bibles and I could install more if I wanted to.

4 reasons why Email marketing/advertising strategy does not work in Nigeria

Keywords: 1. The advantages and disadvantages of email marketing/advertisement in Nigeria, 2. 4 reasons why Email marketing/advertising does not work in Nigeria. 3. Email marketing in Nigeria, problems of email marketing in Nigeria, 4. Issues in email advertisement in Nigeria. Introduction Whoever told you to rely largely on email marketing/advertorial strategy as a Nigerian Internet operator or one that has the Nigerian “websphere” in focus must have told you a lie. Whatever the magnitude of pros possible with email advertising strategy, when it comes to the Nigerian online environment, the cons seem to take the lead. And when the odds is more popular, then such is not a feasible strategy to adopt, its best suitable for the trashcan, it just doesn’t work!
